Who we are
ScrubAce is a job management application for cleaning businesses, operated at scrubace.com. When you create an account on ScrubAce, we collect and process information about you and your business as described in this policy.
What we collect
Account information. Your name, email address, business name, phone number, and time zone — collected when you sign up or invite team members.
Business data. Customers you add, properties, service schedules, job records, photos of completed work, signatures, checklists, and notes. This information is private to your business and is not shared with other ScrubAce users.
Usage data. Basic logs about how you use the app — pages visited, actions taken, and error reports. Used to improve the service and diagnose problems.
Communications. Emails we send to you (invitations, password resets, etc.) and emails sent through ScrubAce on your behalf to your team members.
How we use it
We use your information to:
- Provide and maintain the ScrubAce service
- Authenticate you and your team members
- Send transactional emails (invitations, password resets, account confirmations)
- Improve our features and fix bugs
- Communicate with you about service updates or support requests
We do NOT use your business data — your customer information, schedules, or job records — for advertising, marketing, or any purpose other than running your account.
Who we share it with
We share data with a small set of service providers who help us operate ScrubAce:
- Supabase — hosts our database and authentication system
- Vercel — hosts our application
- Resend — sends our transactional emails
We do NOT sell your data to advertisers, data brokers, or third-party marketers. We do NOT share your customer information with other businesses.
We may disclose information if required by law (e.g. court order, subpoena) or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and business data for as long as your ScrubAce account is active. If you close your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we're required to retain it for legal or accounting reasons.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. You can:
- Access and edit most of your data directly in the app
- Request a copy of your data by emailing support@scrubace.com
- Request deletion of your account and data by emailing support
Security
We use industry-standard practices to protect your data: encrypted connections (HTTPS), row-level security for database access, and strong password requirements. No service is 100% secure, but we work hard to keep your data safe.
Children's privacy
ScrubAce is not designed for use by children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@scrubace.com.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change. We'll notify users of material changes by email or in-app notice.
