Card on file so the transition is smooth if you stay, but you're not charged for 30 full days. Cancel anytime from inside the app during those 30 days and no charge ever happens.

FAQ

The questions we actually get asked.

What if I have multiple employees? Does the price change?+
No. $49/month covers your entire business — unlimited owners, techs, and customers. No per-seat pricing, ever.
What happens after the 30 days?+
Day 31 is when your card is charged for the first time. From then on, you're on the monthly (or yearly) plan you picked at signup. Cancel anytime from inside the app — no phone calls, no retention guilt-trip. Cancel before day 31 and you're never charged at all.
Do you charge transaction fees on payments?+
No. ScrubAce doesn't process customer payments at all — when a customer pays you through Venmo, PayPal, Cash App, or Zelle, the money goes directly to your account with no middleman. Your ScrubAce subscription is paid through Stripe at the standard $49/mo flat rate.
Can I import my existing customer data?+
Not yet via a self-serve CSV upload — that's on the build list. For now, customers and properties are added through the app one at a time, which works fine for businesses with up to 50–100 customers. If you have a bigger list and want to switch to ScrubAce, email us and we'll help you get the data in.
What about my customers — do they need to install anything?+
No. The customer portal works in any browser. They click a link from email (or scan a QR code you show them) and they're in — no password to set up, no app to download.
How do my customers actually pay me?+
You add your Venmo, PayPal, Cash App, and/or Zelle handles in Settings. Customers see them on their portal as tappable links — tap to open the payment app with your handle ready. You still mark the invoice paid after the money lands in your account. We don't process the payment ourselves, so there are no transaction fees from us.
Can I track my techs' hours and pay?+
Yes. Set each tech's pay type (hourly or per-job) in the Team page. Each tech sees their own hours and estimated earnings on /my/hours and /my/pay. Owners see all techs in real time on the Dashboard's active-tech tile. Techs also have a personal mileage logger for tax tracking.
What's the catch with the flat $49 price?+
There isn't one. We built this product to be the tool we wished existed — not to upsell every feature at a higher tier. We make money on volume, not on lock-in.
Is my data safe?+
Yes. Bank-level encryption in transit (HTTPS) and at rest (Supabase + Postgres). Daily automated backups. Mileage logs can be exported to CSV anytime; full account-data export is in the build queue if you ever need to leave.
